How It Works

Every commission begins with a conversation. You share the moment, the subject, the feeling you want to capture — a grandchild, an animal, a garden, a memory that deserves to exist in oil on canvas. Billie listens, asks questions, and works with you until the vision is clear. Then she disappears into the studio and gets to work.

You will receive progress updates along the way. The finished painting ships framed and ready to hang, with a certificate of authenticity and a signed letter from the artist.

What to Expect

Commissions are painted in oil on canvas in Billie Shannon's signature jewel-toned palette. Each piece is a one of a kind original — never reproduced, never replicated, made entirely for you.

Turnaround time is typically eight to twelve weeks depending on size and complexity and the current commission schedule.

Pricing

Custom commissions begin at $3,000 and are priced based on size, subject matter, and complexity. A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent is required to reserve your place on the commission schedule. The remaining balance is due upon completion before shipment.

Billie Shannon accepts a limited number of private commissions each year. Inquiries are taken on a first come first served basis.
